**YOUR DUTIES WILL BE TO**:
- Development of Standard Operating Procedures for the Pharmacy plan
- Continuous Development of systems for recording drug accountability and temperature control
- Ensure stock control of trial and non-trial related medicines with good drug accountability processes
- Responsible for the preparation and dispensing of study product according to protocol requirements and Good Clinical Practice Standards (GCP)
- Responsible for completing the participants pharmacy source file
- Collecting information form participants related to study product returns
- Perform individualized adherence counselling as per protocol
- Ensure the safe disposal of study product
- Responsible for monthly stock takes of study products and recording of it
- Liaise with all Internal Customers and External Customers and Suppliers when necessary towards the achievement of organizational and departmental goals.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures according to prescribed procedures and legislation
- Report all unsafe activities to Senior Management/Human Resources
- Adhere and maintain decision making authority as allocated to the position
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Adheres to all management SOP’s, guidelines and confidential agreements
**YOU SHOULD HAVE**:
**Qualification/Professional Membership**:
- Degree in Pharmacy
- Registration with SA Pharmacy Council
- GCP certificate (Advantageous)
**Work Experience**:
- At least 3 years Pharmacy experience
- Clinical or research experience in TB/HIV care (Advantageous)
