**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 5 Years experience in Commercial Underwriting
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years team leader experience in a similar role
- Industry relevant qualification
- RE5
- FAIS compliant

**DUTIES**:
Financial:

- Take proactive measures to minimize cancellations and mitigate financial losses
- Ensure and contribute to minimisation of general expenses

Client:

- Ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication with all stakeholders, including clients, Account Executives, and insurers
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance client engagement and service delivery
- Work to meet client satisfaction targets while adhering to company standards

Business Processes:

- Guide and support the Commercial Underwriting team towards achieving goals and maintaining standards
- Provide guidance on underwriting practices and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Address client complaints promptly and optimise staffing to improve efficiency
- Generate reports, conduct quality assessments, and take corrective action to uphold quality standards
- Assist in developing training materials and procedures to enhance team performance.
Adhere to company standard operating procedures performing the following processes on client portfolios (but not limited to):

- General client
- New business
- Renewals
- Endorsements
- Re Broke
- Age Analysis
- Cancellations
- Refunds
- Invoicing
- Client retention
- Filing and record keeping
- Participating in ad hoc projects

- Share information and knowledge with the team
- Assist with the Performance management of the Underwriting team
