Nicholas Electrical Contractors seeks a remote proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive lead generation, conduct targeted outreach, and support client engagement through systematic follow-ups. This is a part-time role, perfect for someone to gain hands on experience in business development. Its Ideal for students, aspiring entrepreneurs, or anyone looking to deepen their skills in business and communication.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead Research & Targeting**: Conduct research on 8 target companies weekly, identifying relevant contacts and potential project opportunities.
- **System Creation & Tracking**: Build and manage a tracking system to organize outreach, follow-up dates, and responses.
- **Client Engagement Support**: Assist in creating targeted outreach materials that align with client needs.
- **Report Progress**: Provide weekly and monthly updates on outreach and lead generation activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Prior experience in business development or lead generation is a plus

**Compensation**:

- **Hourly Rate**: R75 - R120
- **Incentives**: R300 for each qualified response beyond quota; 1%-1.5% commission on converted leads

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: R75,00 - R120,00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
