**Description**:
As a **Junior Buyer** you will contribute to the continued growth of Superbalist as a partner to the Senior Buyer/Buyer within a product category (or categories). Your primary responsibility will be to support the department across all administrative functions related to the purchasing of product as well as source, range build and manage replenishment for smaller categories, with guidance from the Senior Buyer/Buyer.

Buyer / Senior Buyer

**The Role**
- Manage a small to medium sized portfolio of categories by monitoring stock, sales and margin. Assortment is to be customer centric and strategically aligned.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to negotiate best price, great value offers and exclusive stock and brands.
- Compile weekly trade feedback reports and present to your manager.
- Support the customer team in delivering a world class customer experience.
- Complete all administrative documentation that is related to loading of products into the Superbalist system.
- Processing of all amendments and communicating changes to relevant parties.
- Managing orders through the critical path process.
- Pulling weekly reports on incoming stock and liaising with suppliers if samples are required.
- Managing sample process between retail and production.
- Prepping of product and documents for quarterly SWOT's
- Drive Weekly Competitor Analysis

**Key Requirements**
- Relevant Diploma or Degree
- Competency in MS Office packages specifically in excel
- 3+ years' experience in retail is preferable. E-commerce experience is advantageous
- Strong computer skills and an affinity to learn new systems
- Previous Homeware Experience is Advantageous
- High level of organisational skills
- Resilient, dedicated and self-motivated
