- Reporting to Financial Manager- Main Purpose of Job:
- The role of the Supply Chain Manager is to coordinate, organise, and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the company's goods. Furthermore the Supply Chain Manager responsible for securing the warehouse as well as supervising staff- Key Performance Areas:
- Oversee all warehouse daily operations- Warehouse and fleet maintenance- In charge of departments hiring, training, and disciplinary actions- Creating and implementing standard operation procedures for departments- Managing Warehouse Logistics - Shipping & Receiving Departments entire warehouse facility to improve material flow for production- Ensure the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse- Prioritise inbound shipments to ensure proper inventory levels and warehouse schedules for upcoming orders/projects- Coordinate outbound shipments with customers (internal/external) to meet delivery goals and excel customer expectations- Work with sales and vendors on all return to vendors and return to stock concerns- Coordinate the purchasing and receiving of internal goods- Conduct bi-annual inventory counts- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the receipt of goods- Ensuring prompt packing of new stock via hands-on-management- Keeping all stock up to date (on hand stock / bin locations / job issues)- Inventory accuracy- Recruitment and training of staff- Controlling inventory levels by conducting stock counts, including planning, managing and confirming of counts- Ensuring that urgent stock items are fast tracked through the system correctly- Ensuring job issues are done correctly and the correct documentation is handed over to customers- Highlight critical stock levels- Stock reconciliation- Safeguarding of warehouse content- Planning, scheduling and assigning tasks to employees and confirm tasks have been completed- Setting up of practical systems to simplify the process- Fleet control-
**Inherent Requirements**
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12.- Supply Chain/Warehouse/Production Management Certificate- Computer Literacy- Valid Code 08- Strong interpersonal skills both with staff and senior managers.- Strong Production Management Skills- Coordination/ Organization and Managing of company Goods- Stock Count and preparations- Fleet organizations and Management.- Able to work under own initiative, be proactive and work efficiently as part of a team.- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.- Sober Habits- Good Driving Skills- Customer service- Communication Skills- Attention to Detail- Mathematics or Literacy Skills- Management Experience- People Skills- Computer Literacy and Invoicing- Purchase and Inventory Experience**What Qualification**
