Using technical software packages, such as 3ds Max, Maya, and Blender.
- Building up accurate, detailed, frame-by-frame visuals.
- recording dialogue and working with editors to composite the various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters, and graphics) to produce the finished piece.
- Working as part of a broader production team, which might include liaising with printers, copywriters, photographers, designers, account executives, website designers or marketing specialists.
- Design 3D animations using specialized computer animation programs.
- Design animated movies, video games, and TV shows, and add animations to other forms of media.
- Work with a team of animators, designers, and developers to turn animations into a fully functional product.
- Revise animations based on feedback.
- Participate in brainstorming and problem-solving sessions.
- Meet project deadlines and work efficiently within a team environment.
- Collaborate with the creative team to create 3D assets, models, textures, and animations for various projects.
- Work on modelling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and rendering of 3D assets.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of 3D assets across projects.
- Adapt to various artistic styles and project requirements.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
**Qualifications**: Grade 12 (Matric).

**Experience**: Industry relevant experience required.

- Must have exceptional computer literacy.
- Strong passion and drive for 3D animating.
- Proficiency in 3DS MAX; experience with Maya and Blender is a plus.
- Strong understanding of 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, and animation.
- Excellent problem-solving and creative skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to different project requirements.
- Strong communication skills.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
