Supreme processing has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Manager in the Maintenance department.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Millwright trade qualification.
- Electrical trade qualification
- DMS system experience would be advantageous

**Competencies Required**
- Experience: 7 to 10 years relevant experience after qualification
- Experience working at a Further Processing Plant or food manufacturing plant.
- Experience in Amonia Plant systems.
- Experience managing a team of Artisans
- Self -motivated and ability to work independently.
- Competent on job specific in-house job skills.
- Detail and accuracy orientated.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good record keeping

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage all departments within Maintenance: Electrical, Mechanical, Scales, Refrigeration, Grounds, Buildings, Stores, etc
- Ensure compliance to all legislative requirements regarding Machinery act and OHSAS.
- Management of: Electricity consumption, Water consumption, Coal consumption, etc
- Preventative maintenance
- Minimize down time.
- Future planning and upgrades regarding refrigeration and production machinery.
- Drive capex's.
- Ensure general housekeeping.
- Evaluate efficiency of production machinery.
- Drive HACCP system for Maintenance team.
- Plan and upgrade buildings.
- Responsible for maintenance stores.
- Ensure preventative maintenance program is running electively
- Oversee the creation of requisitions and orders.
- Control budget daily.
- Oversee maintenance system, create and sign off all job cards daily.
- Ensure all OHSAS documentation is done correctly.
- Ensure all relevant checklists are done daily.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports are on time.
- Management of maintenance team (performance, discipline, time keeping, training etc
- Management of contractor's on site
