Conduct research in the field for long and extensive hours.
- Plan and co-ordinate research with single or multi-disciplinary team.
- Data capturing, analysis, interpretations and recommendations.
- Analytical problem solving.
- Disseminate technology through peer-reviewed scientific articles.
- Regularly provide feedback (verbal/written) on work activities to supervisor.
- Comply with health and safety and risk procedures.
- MSc Degree (NQF level 9) in Agriculture with specialization in Crop Science, Soil Science or Agronomy.
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- A minimum average of more than 60% achievement in Masters degree.
- Excellent publication skills with evidence of more than one peer reviewed scientific publication(s).
- Experience in conducting research on medicinal plants will be an added advantage.
- Ability for physical work.
- Great learning capability.
- A valid driver’s licence.
