**Job Title**: Junior Bookkeeper

**About Us**:
Melior is a South African (Cape Town) based, owner operated, B-BBEE Level 1 certified Company, performing maintenance within the industrial, Renewables and marine environments using rope access techniques. We also offer Industrial Training accredited by OPITO & IRATA.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage suppliers, ensuring all necessary documents are obtained and updated for VAT purposes.
- Perform daily reconciliation of customer invoices and track payments received from customers.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various payment systems, including Credit Card speedpoint machines, Payfast, EFT, PAYJUSTNOW, and PAYFLEX.
- Oversee daily cash receipts and petty cash, maintaining accurate records.
- Other miscellaneous tasks delegated.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficient in XERO accounting software with an ability to navigate its functionalities efficiently.
- Comfortable with modern cloud-based technology.
- Strong understanding of payment systems and experience in managing supplier documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- At least 12 Months experience in a similar role.
