**Who are we?**

Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.

**What will you do?**
- Responsible for the timely and effective response to IT user queries and problems through the receipt and logging of problems and the co-ordination of rapid and appropriate responses for higher-level problem resolution and advice of the document capture environment and other infrastructure.**What will make you successful in this role?**
- Monitoring and support of software infrastructure- Perform daily system health checks- 1st Line support and Administration of document capture environment and other infrastructure- Troubleshooting software and infrastructure problems and resolving them- Responsible for routine maintenance and software testing- After hour standby and specific core attendance time- Server support and maintenance- Support Application development via Administration- Deliver support process improvements and documentation- Provide on-going guidance and education on the optimum use of system software- Assist in the maintenance of system software- Service Reporting- Qualifications- Matric
- Relevant IT qualification will be advantageous**Experience**
- 1st Line support and administration experience
- Proven exerpeince in troubleshooting software and infrastructure problems and resolving them
- Development experience will be advantageous
- Knowledge of ITIL practices will be advantageous
- Document Management systems support experience will be advantageous**Knowledge and skills**
- Able to resolve problems
- Knowledge of ITIL practices will be advantageous
- Ability to provide effecient services and support in a high pressurised environment
