Reporting and Insights Officer

**Overall Purpose of the Position**:
To deliver actionable insights and accurate reporting that drive strategic and operational decisions across Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership. This role supports TradeOn’s data-driven culture by transforming raw data into meaningful intelligence, optimizing performance across all restaurants, and aligning reporting with franchisor requirements and internal KPIs.

**Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:
**Reporting & Business Intelligence**
- Compiling and submitting Weekly & monthly reporting to Franchisor, Finance and Operations.
- Maintaining and enhancing Power BI reports and/or dashboards using SQL and POS data (GAAP, Firecell)
- Designing and managing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata
- Generating reports from single/multiple systems and troubleshoot reporting issues

**Data Analysis and Insights**
- Using statistical methods to analyse trends, performance and customer behaviour.
- Developing predictive models to support decision-making in staffing, inventory and promotions.
- Working closely with operations and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Translating business needs into technical requirements and data solutions.

**Data Governance & Quality**
- Ensuring data integrity, normalization, and compliance with internal and franchisor standards
- Providing quality assurance for imported data and managing commissioning/decommissioning of datasets.
- Supporting data warehouse initiatives and revise reporting requirements as needed

**Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement**
- Partner with departmental managers to define data needs and reporting priorities
- Training end users on dashboards and reporting tools.
- Presenting insights to senior leadership in clear, actionable formats.

**Ad Hoc & Strategic Projects**
- Supporting cross functional projects requiring data analysis and reporting
- Contributing to digital transformation initiatives, including automation and AI integration

**Ideal Requirements**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 2+ years in data analytics/reporting, preferably in FMCG or QSR
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, GAAP, Firecell and advanced excel
- Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and large-scale databases.
- Ability to translate complex data into business-friendly insights
