Role Purpose

The Regional Manager will be responsible for the total management of staff and service requirements to all clients, as well as to oversee the delivery of solutions that enable the achievements of business goals and objectives, both financially and contractually, to ensure sustainability and growth.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing - Essential
- Certificates in Audiology and Spirometry - Essential
- Valid dispensing licence - Essential
- Valid South African Nursing Council Registration as an Occupational Health Practitioner - Essential
- At least 5 years proven client relationship management experience - Essential
- At least 5 years experience in an occupational health environment - Essential
- Experience in safety & risk, auditing and project management - Advantageous
Duties & Responsibilities

**Clients**
- Manage the client base
- Visit clients & on-site clinics monthly or as required
- Manage client expectations
- Ensure all clients have a formal key performance indicator and quarterly KPI meetings
- Draw up and present the annual report to senior management of clients
- Manage the loading and approval of payroll items as well as the outsourced locum payroll
- Action ad hoc requests from clients (i.e., wellness days, service to non-clients on a once off basis (flu vaccines), wellness talks etc.
- Drive a client centric environment that focuses on best practice service delivery to all clients

**Operations**
- Manage the operations, client base, regional office, walk-in-clinic, permanent and locum personnel
- Drive a culture that guides and directs best practice, fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement and cohesiveness
- Supervision of the team which includes planning, reporting, attending meetings and rewarding and recognising employee performance
- Create a positive work climate and culture to energise employees, give meaning to work, minimise work disruption and maximise employee productivity
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership behavior through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values
- Select and recruit suitably qualified staff talent in line with Employment Equity principles and Company values
- Identify employee growth and development needs and schedule interventions to enable ongoing development, training and personal growth
- Effectively manage performance within the team in order to ensure business objectives are achieved
- Encourage innovation, change agility and collaboration within the team
- Share and transfer product, process and systems knowledge to colleagues
- Manage training requirements for all staff
- Present internal training where/when required
- Ensure induction training is implemented as required

**Finances**
- Draw up and manage the regional budget of all sites
- Manage monthly expenditure according to budget
- Ensure proposals and quotes are done on the correct system
- Manage monthly invoices (ad hoc, on-site), proforma invoices and bad debt
- Check financial reports each month and report back to head of finance
- Negotiate annual increases of all clinics within the business unit

**Marketing**
- Drive marketing to maintain current clients and grow new business
