**Main purpose of the job**

The role of the IT Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. The project manager will manage the fulfilment of the project requirements, providing regular status updates to project and portfolio stakeholders and escalating concerns when projects are struggling to meet their commitments for scope, cost, and timelines.

**Nature of appointment**: Permanent Support Services

**Minimum salary scale** (Total Cost to Company): R 956 841 per annum _(2025 salary scales to be confirmed)_

**Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience**
- Diploma
- Certifications in PRINCE2: Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Project Management professional.
- Three (3) years’ direct work experience in a project management capacity.

**Desired Qualification, Knowledge and/or Experience**
- University degree.
- Certification in ACP: Agile Certified Project Manager.
- Five (5) years’ direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Five (5) years’ experience in IT environment will be added advantage.
