**Duties & Responsibilities**

Typical responsibilities of the Cyber Security Analysts include:

- Monitoring for security incidents and events
- Analysis, triage and reporting of incidents using a range of tools
- Threat hunting and scenario planning
- Developing incident response plans and recommending remedial actions
- Development and tuning of correlation rules and indicators of compromise
- Research of latest threats and trends
- Expansion and maintenance of various security tools and agents
- Providing awareness with respect to cyber security and basic training.

**Requirements**:

- B.Sc. Computer Science /B. Tech (IT) / Information Security or related degree.
- At least 4 years’ experience in IT
- At least 1 of CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, CEH, SANS Cyber Security or similar technical security certification
- Certification or experience with ITIL, COBIT or NIST will be an added advantage
- Possess knowledge and understanding of Information Security Standards and regulations
- Basic knowledge of SIEM, Antivirus, IPS/IDS and Firewalls
- Knowledge of IT hardware, software and network technologies
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities, attacker exploit techniques, and methods for remediation of such.
- Good understanding of distributed computing environments
- Passionate about technology and security
