**XL Events is looking for a Stock Controller**

**Position/Title: Stock Controller**
**Reports Too: Fleet and Warehouse Manager**
**Function: Operations**
**Number of Reports: 2**

**Overall Responsibility**:
Develops the inventory management strategy of the company with the goal to control costs within budget, generate savings, rationalize inventory, and maximize losses. Maintains and manages inventory of materials and stocked products. Creates and maintains accurate written procedures for the primary inventory control functions and processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the stock management system implemented.

**Focus Area 1:Process Administration**
Accurate, timely flow of documentation and information: Issue the required documentation to dispatch and receive department
Updating of System update to ensure accurate reflection of up to date stock

**Focus Area 2: Stock Management**
Stock Take/Count done
Stock replenishment
Stock holding & Inventory Turnover managed

**Focus Area 3: Reporting**
Reporting on stock variances (Ensures all stock variances are investigated and reported on.)
Report shortages to events coordinators/project managers related to specific events

**Requirements of the Role**:

- 2 years Experience working in a similar role
Formal Qualification would be beneficial
Proficiency in working with a stock inventory management software
Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
