- Help children build confidence by training them to view themselves positively and with self-worth.
- Amplify children's voices, ensuring they are heard and respected within their communities.
- Teach self-regulation and intrinsic motivation to empower children to navigate challenges with resilience.
- Offer training in psychological first aid, preparing communities to respond to trauma with care.
- Actively identify and support children who may be experiencing neglect, ensuring they receive the protection they need.
- Educate teachers and community leaders on the impact of violence against children and the importance of safeguarding laws.
- Collaborate with the Department of Social Development to ensure the highest standards of child protection in the community.
- Build partnerships with other nonprofit organizations to enhance child protection outcomes.
- Engage with caregivers through online platforms, offering parenting skills and continuous mentorship.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Degree in Social Work, Social Science, Child & Youth Care Work, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in community development and facilitation.
- Registration with the SACSSP, HPCSA, or relevant regulatory body.
- A background as a facilitator, assessor, or moderator is an advantage.
- Proven leadership, management, and team-building abilities, inspiring others to achieve their potential.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with child protection laws, government policies, and experience collaborating with government and donors.
- Strong data literacy with the ability to collect and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft365.
- Fluent in English and IsiXhosa, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Own transport is required.
