Regional Corporate Affairs Manager

**Main Purpose**:
**The Regional Corporate Affairs Manager is responsible for supporting the relevant line of business across the Africa region including the provision of counsel to the regional lead and LOB leads on, government & stakeholder relations, media relations (proactive and reactive) and thought-leadership, while ensuring effective digital and employee engagement communication on specific LOB issues such as Business cascade. Act as Corporate Affairs point of contact for B2C and retail leads. To raise the profile of the Puma brand across key stakeholders and customers, leveraging strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and thought leadership.**:
**Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work closely with the Head of Africa and General Managers to ensure effective in country communication, positioning and thought leadership.
- Adapt and cascade the global communications strategy to regional and country-level managers in their region, complementing efforts to build our brand and enhance reputation with regional stakeholders
- Implement and adapt global campaigns into effective integrated campaigns to advance Puma’s interests and amplify marketing campaigns in the region and for B2C and retail
- Proactively manage the company’s reputation with key influencers and stakeholders in region or line of business
- Coordinate the response to regional and LOB issues and crises. Manage processes to identify and track country and LOB issues and identify opportunities, trends, risks guided processes set and coordinated by global CA. Feedback trends and risks to the Global Head of Corporate Affairs and business leads
- Develop positioning programme for the regional and LOB leadership (speeches, thought-leadership, etc.)
- Develop country-specific programs to enhance brand awareness and engagement, guided by the corporate brand purpose, strategy and narrative.
- Gather stories and examples from across the region and LOBs to feed into global corporate affairs plan and support the group narrative
- Support and co-ordination of relevant LOD trade events
- Second line crisis management for issues affecting B2C, LOB or entire region
**REQUIREMENTS**
**Education**:
**Experience**:
- 10 to 15 years’ experience in a corporate affairs role including experience of working in Retail, and Employee
Communications & Engagement Branding & Marketing would be an asset.
- Experience in global organisations operating in Africa / emerging markets
**Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a strong command of the English language with mastery in writing
- Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
- Ability to successfully lead through others
- Working proactively and flexibly
