**Job Requirements**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 / N3 Certificate
- Valid driver’s licence

**Minimum Experience**:

- 2-3 years’ experience in Minerals Processing Plants

**Key Tasks**:
Including but not limited to:

- Assist Service Technician/s with maintenance and repair work on site or in branch
- Assist with installation and assembly of pumps and other Weir products on site or in branch
- General assistance as and when required
- Cleaning and prepping of parts
- Dismantling of pumps and bearing assemblies
- Ability to identify solutions to improve equipment or processes on and off site
- Preparing Weir equipment for assembly
- Assembling and spray painting
- Load and unload trucks when required
- Delivery of Weir spares when required
- Help with implementing mine health and safety
- Work overtime and standby duties as and when required from time to time
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ensure that working area and equipment is clean and safe at all times and in good working condition
- Adhere to legal and mine safety standards and procedures in all work performed according to the Mine Health and Safety Act
- Adhere to all Safety Health Environment (SHE) and housekeeping requirements at the branch and customer sites at all times
- Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times

**Minimum Skills/Abilities**:

- Clear communication at all levels
- Able to solve problems in a timely manner
- Able to read technical drawings
- Able to work in a team and respond to management direction
- Customer focused
- Safety and quality conscious
