**Roles and responsibilities**: Sihle Mangaliso - activations and operations manager

**General management and operations (Warehouse)**:
Ensure consistent upkeep and monitor deadlines for daily tasks in the warehouse and activations department.
Allocate daily logistics tasks, including deliveries, collections, activation installations, and strikes.
Monitor and maintain housekeeping standards in common areas such as the staff room, kitchen, toilets, offices, and change room.
Oversee warehouse maintenance and repairs to infrastructure.
Manage office consumables, including monitoring and ordering of wrapping and packaging materials, cleaning supplies, water, coffee, and tea.
Handle general management tasks, including staff notices, filing proof of deliveries/collections, and addressing warehouse staff grievances.
Manage vehicle-related responsibilities, including license discs, services, and vehicle maintenance.
Prepare and submit weekly status reports on attendance and absenteeism.
Ensure uniform upkeep and maintenance for all staff members.

**Workforce allocation (based on roles)**:
**Activations team**:
Manage activations locally and oversee the activations schedule.
Handle POS (Point of Sale) management, including stock on hand, allocation, and administration for each event.
Issue and administer delivery/collection notes.
Coordinate logistics and allocate staff members based on their roles and responsibilities.
Facilitate supervisor/brand ambassador kit collection and drop-off.
Conduct pre-event sight visits to plan activations effectively.
Supervise on-site installations and ensure quality control.
Prepare cheat sheets and checklists to streamline activation processes.
Oversee the distribution and maintenance of POS materials and uniforms.

**Warehousing**:
Manage general housekeeping in the warehouse.
Oversee stock management, including incoming and outgoing stock.
Handle consumables management, ensuring an adequate supply of materials.
Manage the dispatch, receiving, and checking of POS materials, addressing damages and shortages.
As the activations and operations manager, Sihle Mangaliso will be responsible for efficiently managing the warehouse operations and activations team, ensuring smooth logistics, timely delivery of services, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and staff welfare.
