Emerald is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self driven, goal orientated Backup power Sales rep, with contactable references and proven sales performance, to join our growing team.

As a dedicated Backup power sales representative, you will play a pivotal role in offering expert guidance and tailored solutions to clients.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
New business development and procuring new clients

Analysing the needs of the customer and putting through a tailor-made back up power solution based on the client’s requirements.

Conducting in person site visits to assess system requirements.

Selecting products and systems to best suit the customer’s needs.

Providing customers with quotes

Generating potential leads for new accounts

Review initial proposals, customer requirements, and component availability.

Design solutions using guidelines of compatible components.

Partaking in tenders and RFQ’s

Always staying above, the industry trends

Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively.

**Skills**
Back up power sales experience

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to relate technical information in laymans terms

Sales Knowledge and experience. A track record of achieving targets and closing deals is beneficial.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as proven problem solving abilities

Customer service orientated.

Good technical aptitude and competitor product knowledge

RFQ and tender submission knowledge essential

Ability to follow instruction.

Be able to negotiate at all management levels.

Must be accurate, neat, meticulous and methodical.

Technical Knowledge of 1-phase / 3-phase UPS experience

**Requirements**:

- Must have a South African ID
- Own Transport
- Valid drivers’ license
- Clear criminal record
- Back Up Power experience

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Killarney Gardens, Western Cape (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Killarney Gardens, Western Cape: Relocate before starting work (required)
