**Description**:

- Verification of quality data received from Staging Depots - Check and verify quality of produce received at staging depots, as well as communicate any issues thereof with the team, producers and packhouses
- Monitor and communicate quality issues of fruit while at depots to team members, producers and packhouses
- Optimization of processes and protocol applicable to Staging Depots - Process the quality data received from depots for report compilation and communication to producers and/or packhouses, as well as the company’s team. Compile QC reports - intakes and inline reports daily, as well as presenting the data to the Company weekly
- Ensure all reports pertaining relevant data from depots are filed and documented on relevant sheets
- Visits to Staging Depots, where applicable
- Engagement with Staging Depots regarding quality issues and processes
- Address customer complaints, FRTVs and DC rejections received, and communicate

to depots and the company’s team, as well as targeting the cause and ensuring improvement to avoid from happening again
- Engage with market agents
- Assist with quality related matters
- Assist with feedback from local municipal markets back to packhouses and

producers
- Assist with enforcement of quality and brand specifications
- Address market agent complaints, communicate to depots and the company’s team,

as well as targeting the cause and ensuring improvement to avoid from happening again.
- Planned visits to packhouses where applicable
- Assist with management of accreditations and retails requirements
- Assist with quality feedback from retailers and Staging Depots back to packhouses

and producers
- Ensure that all packhouses Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), compliance

policies and the quality systems are updated on all relevant platforms. As well as ensuring all relevant certificates pertaining to audits are updated and recorded on all relevant platforms.
- Assist with import/ local program quality control
- Assist with enforcement of quality & brand specs
- Engage with retailer team on any quality challenges and help to over-come

challenges

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (Food science)
