Hiv Counsellor

At AllLife, we encourage and support our customers to improve their quality of life, we will walk a journey with the customer, guiding, educating and helping them manage and monitor their health and ensuring they are conducting regular testing, taking their medication and they know when to seek professional help.

AllLife is looking for an **Accredited HIV Counsellor** to engage with AllLife Customers in our Health Monitoring Department to educate, create awareness, reassure, and walk them through a health monitoring journey to ensure our customers remain healthy and retain their benefits by adhering to the health management requirements.

This is a customer facing role, so experience and confidence in engaging telephonically is essential.

The role requires someone who is passionate about offering the best customer experience, educating, and counselling our customers about what to do to manage their health. You will be required to gather their latest blood results and engage with customers on the outcomes of the results, we are looking for someone who can balance achieving targets as well as making a meaningful connection and nurturing their customers to ensure they retain their full benefits.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Matric
- Clear Criminal and Clear Credit Record
- **Accredited Counselling Qualification**:

- **Medical background / education highly advantageous**

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- **Extensive experience in counselling patients with HIV and AIDS**:

- **Extensive knowledge of HIV Disease Management**:

- Must have the experience and confidence to engage with customers telephonically
- Must have a strong ability to inform, educate, nurture and walk customers through a process to get a specific outcome.
- Must have excellent written communication and telephonic skills and etiquette and the ability personally connect and influence.
- Sound insurance industry knowledge and experience is an advantage
- Individuals must have a successful and proven track record.
- Must have own or reliable transport, will be required to work later shifts.
- Computer literate

COMPENSATION AND TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT
- Contract to Perm Position
- The salary structure will be a basic plus incentives based exceeding your monthly targets.
