We are looking for a **PAYROLL LEAVE SPECIALIST** with advanced knowledge of investigating leave discrepancies on SAGE 300 PEOPLE (the New system) and VIP PREMIER (the Old system).

**Key objectives**:

- Troubleshooting leave balance of up to 1800 employees
- Investigating leave discrepancies and correcting errors after analysing leave data
- Dealing with leave complaints and queries in regard to inaccurate balance
- Understand leave policies to correctly evaluate leave concerns
- Knowledge of leave reconciliation
- Audit leave from the old system to the new system to ensure accuracy

**Key knowledge and understanding**:

- Review Payroll Integration
- Check that leave balances match between the leave management system and payroll system.
- Correct discrepancies and reconcile accurately.
- Ensure that paid leave, unpaid leave, and special leave types (such as maternity or family responsibility leave) are accounted for properly in payroll.
- Adjust for Leave Corrections
- Correct any leave discrepancies identified during the comparison stage.
- This can include:

- Adjusting leave balances for errors in accruals.
- Updating payroll for any leave-related overpayments or underpayments.
