**JOB OVERVIEW**

We're hiring a strategic and technically skilled AWS Practice Manager / Solutions Architect to lead our cloud solutions practice. This role will be responsible for overseeing AWS service delivery, architecting scalable and secure cloud solutions, and managing client engagements.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to design full system architectures that meet functional and business requirements.
- Translate client needs into detailed technical specifications and diagrams.
- Lead Well-Architected Reviews and contribute to Foundational Technical Reviews (FTR).
- Define security, scaling, backup, and deployment strategies using AWS best practices.
- Develop prototypes or technical proof-of-concepts to validate architectural direction.
- Advocate for the reuse of internal tools and shared libraries where possible.
- Participate in partner meetings and competency planning as part of the AWS EEIP program.
- Mentor developers and support upskilling of junior technical staff.

**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**
- 3-5 years experience in web development or engineering with recent focus on architecture or infrastructure design.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture
- Experience in cloud cost optimisation, monitoring, and governance frameworks.
- Proficient in Laravel, Node.js, or Python (backend) and React or Vue (frontend).
- Working knowledge of AWS services including IAM, API Gateway, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, and VPC.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner (required); Solutions Architect Associate preferred or in progress.
- Comfortable creating and presenting technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

- Attention to scalability, security, and resilience in technical design.
- Enthusiasm for solving complex problems and building reliable systems.
