PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To monitor and drive the performance of the team so that operational plans and KPI’s of the DC are met whilst at the same time promoting the culture of Sikhula KunYe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure accuracy of counting stock
- Able to handle all queries from relevant departments
- Escalates daily disciplinary issues e.g. late comings; absenteeism; etc. to the Supervisor
- Leads and motivates staff in alignment with Sikhula Kunye culture
- Ensures compliance with health and safety requirements
- Manage lost time in departments
- Deliver to ORE Standards
- Check all outstanding cartons using WMS to check for packing slips that have no Outscan date or POA date
- Check all stock that has been picked but not STT’d
- Compare all cartons that have no labels to the Pack Slip Enquiry report.
- Ensure that all stock is physically counted on each bay using the Schedule Order List and adjustments accordingly
- Ensure that the leftover stock is built back as per the SOP
- Ensure that leftover stock is approved and then close the line on WMS
- Ensure all damages at the end of a picking line are processed as per the SOP
- Ensure that all exceptions such as Multiple SKUs in pick face is investigated and details handed to the Supervisor
- Ad Hoc responsibilities as required
- 2-3 years’ experience within a DC environment
- Knowledge of distribution techniques
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations will be an advantage
- Competencies: Leadership skills; Communication Skills; Planning, organizing and control; detail orientation; Problem Assessment; Stress tolerance and Confidence and decisiveness
