Our Client is a company that specializes in the sale of used vehicles, industrial equipment, boats, and real estate. They provide buyers and sellers with a platform to facilitate the efficient disposition of assets.

The IT Scrum Master is responsible for creating an environment where the team can be effective and deliver value-adding products to the division through agile values and principles, clearing any obstacles to success. This role is the interpersonal bridge between business owners, product owners, development/delivery teams, and management while maintaining a high-level view of project management. The IT Scrum Master will facilitate sprints and meetings, ensure quality standards are met within each sprint, provide leadership and support with a servant-like attitude, guide the team on Agile/Scrum processes and values, promote self-organisation within the team, assess team Scrum maturity level, remove impediments, and create a trusting and safe environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivers project conception, scope, analysis and parameters
- Coordinates sprints and meetings including daily stand ups
- Ensures deliverables meet quality standards
- Provides servant leadership and leads by example
- Guides the team on Agile/Scrum processes and values
- Promotes self-organisation within the team
- Assesses the Scrum Maturity of the team
- Removes impediments or guides team to do so
- Creates a trusting, safe environment
- Facilitates discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
- Supports communication internally and externally
- Educates the Product Owner on backlog grooming and new requests

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
- Agile certification (preferred)
- Post graduate certification in Business Analysis/Project Management (advantageous)
- Minimum of 7 years’ Business Analyst/IT Project Manager/Delivery Lead Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in introducing and facilitating Agile/Scrum practices
- Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts and practices
- Knowledge of scrum methods, agile framework and principles
- Understanding of project management principles
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills

As an IT Scrum Master, you will create an environment where teams can thrive and delivery value-adding products to the division. You will foster collaboration through servant leadership and promote agile values and principles. You will be accountable for all projects and facilitating sprints, meetings, deliverable assessments and more as well as manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders throughout.
