- Perform on-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of computer systems, laptops, servers, printers, networking equipment, and other hardware devices.
- Respond to customer service requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on business operations.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software issues, including malfunctioning components, connectivity problems, operating system errors, and driver conflicts.
- Replace faulty hardware components, such as motherboards, hard drives, memory modules, power supplies, and network cards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including training on basic software and hardware usage.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work performed using appropriate ticketing or reporting systems.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, such as network administrators, system administrators, and help desk personnel, to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while working on customer premises.
- Follow established service level agreements (SLAs) to meet response and resolution targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients throughout the repair process**Inherent Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience as a break-fix technician or similar role, preferably in a field service environment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical problems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet service level agreements.
