- Matric with Maths
- N4 Fitter Certificate
- Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter
- 3 - 4years’ experience within a similar environment will be advantageous

**Duties**:

- Attend to breakdowns on machinery
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting of complex problems
- Set and adjust machine tools
- Construct and assemble mechanical systems
- Assemble components for installation
- Conduct planned maintenance and checks on machinery
- Plan & organise job cards
- Ensure high quality workmanship by maintaining plant to the desirable standard
- Repair and replace worn and damaged parts on machines to prevent breakdown
