Position Description:
**Junior Designer: Sportscene Marketing**

**Parow, Cape Town**

**As a conceptual yet practical and team oriented person, you will be responsible to design and produce all Marketing requirements across the Sportscene brand. This will include **print and dynamic digital content in order to deliver an excellent marketing and customer shopping experience.**
**The Junior Designer would therefore be required to provide print artwork execution and digital content to all our digital platforms through performing the following duties**:

Design of print and digital communication campaign elements for stores**:

- **
Social Media & Rich Media content (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Website)**:

- **
Website creative Assets: Banners, Landing pages, Blog posts, etc.**:

- **
Basic Animation advantageous**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualising & designing of dynamic marketing campaigns
- Converting content generation to be distributed across all digital assets & channels
- Innovative contemporary content creation
- Translating, generating and executing of briefs
- Ensuring all work aligns to core brand positioning & guidelines
- Ensuring production deadlines are met
- Managing of the creation of marketing material from concept and design to final launch
- Working in production with designers, photographers, retouchers, models
- Liasing with intenal & external vendors, suppliers and printers
- Facilitate reproduction and printing

**Requirements**:

- 3 to 5 years previous experience as a Graphic Designer
- Diploma in Graphic Design
- An in depth understanding of Production, typography and design thinking
- A high level of creativity and has the ability to be innovative.
- Understanding of digital principles & content creation
- Up to date with Digital & industry related trends
- Efficient use & knowledge of Apple Mac OS & Adobe CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro and After Effects is essential.
- Photography, videography & Video editing essential
- Animation advantageous
- Able to work under pressure and has lots of energy & drive
- Organised, deadline driven and has great time management skills
- Flexible and multi-tasked with attention to detail
- Knowledge of print and web production
- Has a eye for communication design, layout and balanced compositions
- Able to translate creative direction and critique.
**Experience in photo shoot production essential**
