We have a new and exciting opportunity available with our client, a Mechanical Process Equipment manufacturer within the mineral processing industry.
They are currently looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman with 10 years’ experience in mechanical equipment design. If this sounds like a new challenge for you, please do read further.

Type: Permanent
Job description / core competencies:
Modelling & assemblies and detail drawings of OEM equipment.
Checking of drawings done by other draughtsman.
Site measurements of equipment, chute work, and structure

**Location (country, city)**:Johannesburg, Gauteng

Job Qualification & Experience:
10 years in mechanical equipment design, highly proficient in machine design.
Experience in the design of rotating equipment, crushers, vibrating equipment and other dynamic equipment would be advantageous. Alternatively: pressure vessels, clarifiers / thickeners, mining equipment, earth moving equipment.
Integral interworking of drives, shafts, gears, bearings, plumber blocks, contact rollers. Added experience in sealing systems would be advantageous.
Site experience in measuring equipment & trouble shooting for the purpose of designing fit-for purpose solutions.
Strong references are mandatory.
