**KEY JOB OBJECTIVE**

To develop and deliver innovative, results-driven marketing strategies and campaigns that grow match attendance, enhance fan experiences, and maximise commercial returns for Titans Cricket and Northerns Cricket Union.

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

The Marketing Officer will focus on traditional sports marketing: creating and executing campaigns to increase ticket sales, drive stadium attendance and enhance match day experience. This includes product development, fan promotions, sponsor activations, and event-based marketing across the cricket season.**KEY DELIVERY AREA**:
To deliver marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, activations, and commercial marketing support across the cricket season.

**In-Season Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute stadium attendance campaigns to drive “bums on seats” - including ticket packages, themed match days, and community promotions.
- Develop and implement creative fan engagement initiatives to enhance the match-day atmosphere.
- Oversee in-stadium branding, activations, giveaways, and sponsor visibility.
- Work with the Commercial and Events teams to deliver sponsor obligations and enhance commercial value.
- Build partnerships with schools, clubs, and community groups to attract new spectators.

**Off-Season Responsibilities**:

- Conduct campaign and sponsorship performance reviews to inform future improvements.
- Plan and develop the marketing strategy and calendar for the upcoming season.
- Coordinate design and production of updated collateral (e.g., signage, merchandise, print material).
- Support the Commercial Manager with sponsor reporting and proposal development.
- Assist in data collection, market research, and benchmarking to identify new growth or activation opportunities.
- Maintain and update brand assets and templates to ensure readiness for the season launch.
- Identify and develop new marketing opportunities in the sport and events sector.

**KEY JOB COMPETENCIES**

- Experience in ticketing, promotions, and product development.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Sports Marketing or similar field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in the sport or events industry.
- Demonstrated success in increasing event attendance or ticket sales.
