We have an exciting position available for a Medical Sales Representative for a Medical Company based in Pretoria East.

**Requirements**:

- 4-5 years’ experience relevant experience
- Strong sales and marketing background.
- Strong and proven relationships in healthcare.
- Commercial awareness and in-depth knowledge of the relevant markets and positioning of medical devices.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong sense of ethics and integrity.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
- Valid drivers license and own transport

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote and sell assigned product portfolio.
- Consistently achieve & exceed determined sales objectives and targets.
- Take and follow up on orders.
- Be available to work after hours and on weekends if required.
- Travel to assigned territory to establish new business, assist with medical procedures, do product training and assessment of customer needs.
- Travel to territories outside of scope to assist when required.
- Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling.
- Co-ordinate delivery of all products and installation of devices in collaboration with Logistics manager.
- Demonstrate or present products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses, clinical engineers and pharmacists.
- Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products ensuring competitive pricing.
- Arrange in-service training with new clients.
- Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector.
- Distribute marketing material at current & potential clients.
- Follow up and report product complaints to line manager and compliance immediately as received.
- Provide product and technical support service to customers.

**Areas to be covered**: Pretoria, Limpopo & Mpumalanga
