Supply Chain, Planning and Procurement Officer

Analyzing supply chain data and performance.
- Maintaining inventory.
- Supervising and training employees.
- Procure raw materials both locally and from China.
- Meet with sales and factory production and plan based on production forecasts.
- Additional tasks will include managing warehouse storage and raw material handling.
- Receive and dispatch raw materials and products correctly and maintain and update storage and dispatch records.
- Booking out raw materials and products.
- Booking back in finished products from factory line.
- Buying packaging material.
- Organize the receiving of raw materials from ports of entry.
- Take steps to ensure inventory always remains well-stocked for successful fulfilment of customer orders.
- Oversee staff actions related to selling, purchasing, distributing, and equipping clients on a constant basis.
- Work with our financial department to review and complete an annual budget and update the monthly estimates as necessary.
- Ensure materials and products are received on time and intact, and in the quality and at the cost agreed upon with the supplier.
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost (without compromising on quality) and improve the company’s business model to provide better services and products to our clients.
- Draft weekly and monthly reports related to the overall cost of products and the most current market conditions.

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
**Qualifications**: Grade 12 (Matric). National Diploma in Business Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent required. Supply chain, Sourcing, or other certifications will be advantageous.

**Experience**: Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

**Skills**:

- Fluent in both English and Mandarin, and essential to be able to read and write in both English and Mandarin.
- Must have exceptional computer literacy (Excel is essential).
- Resourceful and possess good negotiating skills.
- Positive attitude and is willing to learn.
- Must practice effective and professional communication with technical staff and other departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well organized and timely.
- Interculturally sensitive.
