- Effective planning, leading, organising and control of the grouting operations under his/her control to achieve daily production and safety targets
- Effective supervision of the underground team in line with standards, procedures and safety protocols
- Conduct and participate in morning meetings and complete the relevant checklists, risk / safety documents as required
- Verify ranges and hoses are in order before pumping operations start
- Safely assist in grout pumping operations to standards, procedures and safety protocols
- Conduct over inspection of pumping operations to ensure packs are installed and pumped to standard
- Effective and timeous communication to relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows pertaining to grout production and plant operations
- Conduct legal inspections timeously
- Self and team understand and comply with M&RC’s standards, procedures, polices and safety protocols
- Self and team wear the correct PPE before executing a task
- Effective team supervision in alignment with M&RC’s values

**Minimum requirements**- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Grout Plant Operator Technical Skills Certificate or similar
- Blasting Certificate compulsory
- Team Leader Grout Plant or similar Certificate
- License to Supervise or similar supervisory course
- Competent A & B
- MS Office Proficient [Word, Excel] advantageous
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- At least 3 years of experience as a Team Leader in a Grout Plant in a mining environment
- Experience in maintenance of MK5 pneumatic and hydraulic pumps required
- Experience as a miner declaring a workplace safe
- Experience conducting baseline risk assessments [essential]
- Knowledge of Grout Plant operations, equipment and methods
