**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to manage training and development to public safety and security agencies. This post is stationed in Brackenfell.

**Minimum Requirements**:
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher); A minimum of 6 years management level experience; 3 years experience in the traffic or policing field.

**Recommendation**:
Experience in the field of training and development; Registered Traffic Officer; Diploma Examiner for Driving Licence; Diploma Examiner of Vehicles; A valid driving licence (Code B or higher).

Knowledge of the following: Report writing; Research; Technical expertise. Skills needed: Management; Analytical thinking; Communication (written and verbal); Proven computer literacy in MS Office packages.

**Remuneration**:
All-inclusive salary package of R 744,255 per annum (Salary Level 11).

Note on remuneration: Cost-to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed.
