**INTRODUCTION**:
Our client, a Dynamic and growing ISP that specializes in providing Internet, Voice and Hosting solutions across both Fibre and Microwave Mediums, will be opening a branch in Cape Town, and is on the hunt for a _Dynamic, Driven, Forward Thinking individual_ to fill the role of **Channel Manager** - to be their first Cape Town Employee on the Ground, to Drive Sales and maintain relationships with existing and new Channel Partners and Resellers, and ultimately, should they prove themselves, end up running the branch and additional staff that will be added as the demand increases.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**_60%: New Sales and Revenue Increase: _**
- Bring in New sales and clients through the Channel and Reseller base.
- Grow existing client and Channel partner base.
- Up Sell and Cross sell in existing Channel base.
- Build strong relationships in the Channel Partner and Reseller base.
- Meet and Exceed set targets.
- Weekly pipeline meetings with Channel partners and Reseller’s.
- Identify new Channel Partners and Resellers.
- Output: Increase in Revenue and sales month on month.
- Output: Minimal risk with out of contact client.

**_20%: _**_CRM - Pipeline and Opportunities: _**
- Pipeline and opportunity growth of up to 30% per month.
- No aging opportunities of up to 3 months.
- Provide accurate comments and information for all opportunities and services.
- Ensure all data is kept up to date and managed on a weekly basis.
- All opportunities to be updated by Monday Morning Sales meetings.
- Output: Higher conversion ratio of meetings and opportunities into sales.

- _Output: _ Easy accessibility to client information and necessary Company information.

**_10%: Customer Service and Company Ambassador: _**
- Ensure regular meetings are help with Channel partners and resellers for training and Pipeline.
- Attend meetings in a professional manner.
- Channel Partenrs are treated with respect and a positive attitude.
- Correct management of issues and sales pertaining to a client must be managed to resolution.
- _Output: _ High Sales ratio.

**_10%: Sales Strategies: _**
- Implement provided sales strategies effectively.
- Show initiative by providing and implementing one’s own sales strategies to meet targets and generate new sales and revenue Growth.

- Ensure that industry developments relating to potential business opportunities are monitored.
- Output: At any given time, a thorough knowledge of products and services is portrayed and practiced.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2+ years of sales and organizational experience, preferably within the IT, or ISP industry.
- Understanding of the sales process.
- Knowledge of Information Technology industry products, services, licensing and technologies with a learned focus on products and services sold by the company.
- Experience in sales.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Understanding of VoIP Telephony.
- Understanding of Internet Access Services.
- Customer Service Skills.
- Negotiation Skills.
- Logistics Understanding.
- Detail aware and oriented for accuracy.
- Good command of the English language (both verbal and written).
- Ability to manage own time and tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, unsupervised.
- Ability to engage at a meaningful level with the management team, staff, providers, public and customers.
- Ability to work within a structured team environment.
- Awareness and understanding of commercial terms within the Sales space (Margin, Gross Profit, Revenue, Turnover, Net Profit, Cost of Sales, discounting, etc.).
