**The Daily Coffee Group has an opening for a corporate chef trainer and operations assistant. This person needs to be the link between Head Office and the stores to ensure brand standards are met, guidelines are implemented and maintained.**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct store visits to ensure brand standards are met.
- Ensure all stores under your control are in total compliance with the Franchise Agreement.
- Advise franchisees on food costs, stock control, staff management and kitchen hygiene.
- Assist franchisees to identify and correct food costs that are above or below the company standard.
- Create monthly special items - this includes costing, recipes and presentation.
- Providing all support required by the franchisee in the setup of a new store, re-vamp, including the following:

- Opening stock order, which includes:

- Equipment checking
- Staff levels and rosters
- Food preparation including production lists
- Prep sheets and par level forecasts
- Applications for supplier accounts
- On site training for 7 days

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Should treat people with respect and be able to manage your own time and duties working from home when not visiting stores.
- Should be completely proficient in excel and word.
- Should be able to do costing and have experience working with COS.
- Should have experience working on a Point of Sale System and back office operations of a restaurant.
- Should have a license to drive company car that will be provided.
- Should have basic knowledge and interest in coffee, as well as FOH operations.
- Minimum grade 12, with preferably 5 years experience in kitchen and kitchen administrative positions.
- A solid understanding of training principles.
- Travelling in this position is required.
- Able to cope within a pressurized environment.
- Be able to handle conflict, well organized and a problem solver. Bring initiative to the team.
- This is a Gauteng based position, but you will need to travel nationally when required.

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R22,000.00 per month
