Sales Centre Supervisor

A dynamic and globally recognized Consumer Goods company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly capable sales centre specialist to provide leadership and support to Sales Centres in Southern Africa. Working as part of the regional team, you willplay a pivotal role in ensuring top-notch service and product availability, and managing Customer Service & Warehousing operations at various sales centres.
Beyond this you will also have the following **key responsibilities**:
- Monitoring and influencing performance, as well as generating and maintaining good morale of direct reports.
- Drawing up schedules of working hours for all direct reports at the Sales Centre
- Assist in providing accurate headcount, regular hours and overtime reports
- Supervising activities and monitoring customer service levels being provided by your team
- Providing innovative idea or solutions to enhance efficiency and performance of the Sales Centre Team and where possible reducing the cost centre expenditure
You will meet the following **minimum requirements**
- Matric
- Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing or related
- At least 5 - 6 years of sales centre / service operations supervisory/leadership experience within the FMCG, Direct Marketing or Pharmaceutical sectors
- Exceptional customer care track record.
- Strong leadership skills with flexibility to adapt to various leadership styles.
- A clear, articulate communicator who can create impactful communications for internal and external audiences
- Experience working for an international company / Experience and exposure to countries outside of South Africa is highly advantageous
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to instill passion and motivation amongst the team
- Flexibility and willingness to travel is essential
Location: Cape Town
Duration: 12 months fixed term contract
