**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the Service Champion teams.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
- Ensure operation staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development.
- Sound understanding of all restaurant management related aspects, including but not limited to: Inventory Systems, Cash-ups, Hygiene Standards, Quality Standards, Recipes, etc.
- Builds and maintains a departmental structure, operating standards and practices that are responsive and adaptable to evolving business needs.
- Develop and implement new training systems based on the vision and goals set by the organisation.
- Recommend new methods and procedures to enhance current and operating strategies.
- Facilitation of practical (in store) training interventions and coaching.
- Writing of the training manuals for training modules, where applicable.
- Improve the Front of House experience, CSR & Mystery Shopper scores in all of our stores.
- Train the trainers and test knowledge level to ensure they are able to conduct applicable training interventions.
- Focus on better CSR reports on food, service, quality, value and ambience.
- Ensuring the transfer of knowledge has taken place - having influence as a skill
- Planning and scheduling of training for throughout the year.
- Present at all new store openings as support and arranging this from the Service Champion team.
- Standard maintenance and quality control In restaurants.

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**:

- Minimum of 3 years restaurant management experience
- Previous experience as a trainer advantageous.
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
- Computer skills - knowledge of MS Word, Excel - needed to update tests, create evaluations, calendars correctly, etc
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail and process driven;
- Self-motivated with the Ability to multi-task
- Discretion and integrity
- Stress tolerance
- Decision-making
- Professional and friendly. (Even in tough situations)
