**What You Have Done Before**:

- Baseline:
- 8 years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations
- 8 years’ experience in Production and Materials Planning
- SAP PP/MM system knowledge
- Supplier Management
- NQF Level 7 (Degree in Supply Chain, Operations)
- Advantageous:
- NQF 7 Degree plus APICS CPIM or ASCP exposure to SAP
- 3 years management experience in Lubricant
- s manufacturing process
- Experience in managing a team
- Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity

**Exciting Challenges You Might Face**:

- Maximising of manufacturing plant efficiency, optimising of finished goods inventory holding and consistently meeting customer OTIF through effective planning ability
- Building planning scenarios if and when faced with supply challenges as well as plant reliability and labour issues

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Developing and reporting on KPIs
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively reading the business environment to react in time to business needs
- Manage the implantation and sustainability of the Production Planning strategy.
- Ensure effective integration between the different planning processes (Raw Materials Planning, SUB C and Packaging Planning) and between different departments (Planning, Quality, Logistics and Production).
- Formulate Production Planning procedures in line with overall Supply Chain strategy and ensure these are adhered too.
- Monitor planning and execution of Planning processes.
- Monitor reports performance from sub-ordinates and ensure adherence.
- Identify staff training needs and provide coaching and development plans for employees
- Evaluate current production planning processes and recommend improvements.
- Assist in new product development and enhancements.
- Assist in employee hiring, performance evaluation, retention and termination activities.
- Address issues of staff non-performance and take appropriate action where necessary
- Ensure Production planning carried out in line with Engen Inventory policies
- Monitor SLOB reports and seek rework plans while monitoring implantation of same.
- Reduce SLOB materials through continuous improvement initiatives
