**Responsibilities**:
**_Main Purpose_**
- This position is responsible for managing the strategic direction of brands to drive penetration and build salience. This is delivered through developing & executing brand plans and activities and providing guidance and support to partner functions (e.g. Sales)._

**_Accountabilities_**
- Brand Plan development and implementation
- AOP input and implementation
- To build meaningful (value-adding) relationships with customer and consumers via service, product portfolio as well as the communities we serve through an array of marketing initiatives.
- Support the respective production units to achieve value and volume business targets by identifying the regional challenges/nuances and developing supporting plans to establish end to end consumer and shopper solutions.
- Input into NRM and pricing strategy and pricing on innovation projects
- Identify consumer-centric growth opportunities for the brand to ensure its status as a leading breakfast brand - in cereals and beyond. Develop business case to run with such projects
- Continuously building brand credentials on the ProNutro, Otees & Bokomo Porridges brand essences across all communication platforms both internal and consumer facing.
- Identify opportunities to future proof brand as well as entrench brand into communities.
- Ensure the activation of further channels for the brand.
- Project management ( Start -Finish) of all brand related projects through the formal leadership forums
- Liaise with sales, DX and operations team and assist with implementation of tools requested (planned or adhoc) - i.e. sales presentations, POS, hampers, image, packshot requests, adhoc activations that need to be turned on quickly should a store be threatened by competitor pricing and activity.
- Manage Brand A&M budget, securing appropriate investment to unlock brand opportunities and proactively manage trade offs across the year
- People management and development mainly on partner agencies.

Qualifications:
**_Key skills / Requirements_**
- _ Although this is a brand manager role, this role requires the individual to operate at a senior leadership level which requires strategic thinking as well decision making competencies._

- _Post graduate qualification in Marketing_

- _3-_5 years brand management _
- _Stakeholder management and articulation of brand to senior leadership teams._
