Job Purpose

The Team Leader is primarily responsible for cleaning, set-up and running of the tablet press as per the standard procedures, batch records and applicable cGMP guidelines to ensure product quality. Completes Compression machine assembly and disassembly for product change over and at end of the product campaign using the correct tooling as defined by the SOP. Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of tablet manufacturing duties, including team supervision and training.

You will need the following qualifications and experience:

- 5 - 10 years or more proven related experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment in granulation, blending and compression of effervescent tablets.
- 3 - 5 years Specialized experience with High-speed Compression Machines including cleaning, set up and efficient runs
- 2 - 3 years or more should be in Pharmaceuticals Tablet Manufacturing supervisory role
- N4- N6 Engineering Qualification, Trade Tested Artisan in Electrical/Fitting/Mechatronics
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings required
- Knowledge of Oracle will be an advantage
