Manager: Digital Services Analytics

**Responsibilities**
Strategy Development and Implementation
- Provide reports and analysis to support and contribute to the development of the sub functional digital strategy in line with the overarching business goals
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to enable the regular review of the sub-functional
- strategy, roadmap, and performance to ensure its alignment with the changing dynamics of
- the internal and external ecosystem
Operational Delivery
- Interpret available data and turn into usable information to guide and inform decision making in the team
- Manage and design reporting requirements
- Automate reporting by designing and building dashboards Interpret trends and patterns to guide the design team in thinking and research through critical thinking
- Create analytic user stories for development implementation to gain further insights into Products Communicate and playback analytical information obtained.
Build and design Analytics and Tag management implementations for the various teams.
- Tracks websites and other platforms in the form of dashboards that are contextual and visual to teams and the organisation.
- Assess technical requirements for his/her data management and ensure that these are met Participate and provide inputs to project status meetings and sprints
- Build & provide analytics for the digital services, xtra time & remittance services
- Propose operational changes and provide recommendations to improve quality of technical solutions for his/her data management needs
- Develop best practise pipeline framework adhering to (KDD, CRISP) and deployment of use cases identified in Digital Services by using ML Techniques.
- Develop decision and recommendation for Real-Time and Predictive Analytics
- Design and implement data pipeline with integration to overall company data repository for the 360-business view
- The use cases will include but not limited to TCF engine:
- Treat customer friendly engine framing the customer journey for digital services
- Discovery suggestion & recommendation to customers in the different interfaces and Play 2.0
- Fraud Models
- Profitability & Revenue Models
- Customer Segmentation with Personalized Marketing
- Harmonizes, develop, as per the specificities of each Opco
- Provide intelligence and strategic input to support implementation plans
- Ensure that the data and analytics goals are aligned with the businesss mission, strategy, and objectives
- Support the development of compiling business cases to facilitate strategic decision for developing and implementing digital solutions
- Define appropriate analytical models necessary to support implementation use cases
- Collaborate with Technology teams and Analytics Managers across Group on data structure, standardisation, and aggregation
- Coordinate with Opco distribution team and other stakeholders for all reporting requirements
Conduct customer analytics, insights, and predictive modelling to guide the effective implementation of digital solution designs
- Identify the development of new data analytics capabilities and manage on-going comprehensive data analytics
- Provide oversight on the strategic data priorities and identify new business opportunities based on the existing data
**Education**:
- 4-year Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science or related field
- Masters in business administration is advantageous
**Experience**:
- 5 years or more relevant work experience in digital products development & implementation
- At least 2-3 years experience in managing and implementing innovative digital products and within the Telco, financial or banking industry
- Experience in a managerial position
- Deep understanding of the Digital ecosystem, players, business models and financial sector or banking industry related best practices
- Experience in Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
Understanding emerging markets advantageous
- Experience working in a medium to large organization
- Pan Africa multi-cultural experience is advantageous
