**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
This role forms part of the Enterprise Project Management Office. You would be required to take overall responsibility for Programme Management within BankservAfrica. The role will include providing leadership for the programme management discipline.
The Lead Programme Management will oversee all Programme Management activity within the EPMO ensuring that programme managers maximise the results for the achievement of their programmes objectives.
Some of the primary tasks to ensure the achievement of the goal of the programme management process include:
assessing the suitability of projects for inclusion in the respective programmes.
maintaining effective programmes through active progress tracking
Responsibilities of the Lead Programme Management include Programme coordination, distribution of information material, as well as steering committee and project meetings.
Manages departmental budget and costs
Manages product life cycle relevant to department/area
Builds capability and future talent
Coaches managers and technical specialists
Manages relevant stakeholders
Responsible for risk and compliance management in department
Oversee programme managers in all areas of their responsibilities, including planning, identifying milestones, and risk plans. Ensuring programme managers achieve programme time and budget objectives, the delivery of the contracted results or end product, as well as effectively manage programme stakeholder relationships.

Bank and Corporate Clients
Regulatory Bodies
Auditors and Consultants
Internal, Bank and Service Provider Programme Managers
IT Managers, Contractors, and vendors
Management and Executive Management Business Units and Product Owners
Lead Portfolio Management
**Requirements**:
QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE (INCLUDING MOST RELEVANT FIELD OF STUDY)
Bachelor’s degree with honours.
PGMP certification.
PMP certification.
Required computer literacy levels in the MS Office suite and applicable Programme Management Applications.
EXPERIENCE (INCLUDING RELEVANT SECTOR SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE)
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Programme Management.
Experience in Payments and Banking industry will be an advantage.
Experience in leading a Programme Management team.
Experience in budget management.
Experience in facilitating meetings and consultations with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
