- Develop sales and marketing strategies aligned to short-term and long-term strategic goals, for approval by the Board.
- Conduct market research and seek input from key stakeholders to create business plans that support sales and marketing expansion.
- Build a pipeline of opportunities for new business and close sales targets to ensure that sales targets are met.
- Establish sales and marketing dashboards related to goals and objectives and report progress to the executive team and the Board.
- Establish effective pricing and discount strategies, reviewing them annually, and ensure product/services offering by customer is correct and profitable.
- Establish criteria to assess risk level for each customer account.
- Negotiate ongoing contracts with suppliers and customers to derive value
- Promote a climate of trust that motivates the sales and marketing team.
- Develop the sales and marketing team to enhance performance delivery and to ensure effective succession planning.
- Ensure that the proper sales coaching and that Sales knowledge is enhanced
- Develop key account management concept for different customers and ensure regular engagement.**Inherent Requirements**
- 5-10 years relevant experience.
- Relevant B degree.
- A post graduate commercial qualification would be an advantage.
- Relevant sales, marketing, or business qualification.
- Experience in digital marketing campaigns.
- Petrochemical & Chemicals and or Gases industry background, is essential.
