**INSURANCE UNDERWRITER**

**Introduction**

A small brokerage firm in Centurion is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, relationship-driven, and administratively skilled Personal Lines Underwriter (Short-Term Insurance) with at least 5 years’ experience to their growing and dynamic team in Centurion.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Administration of short-term personal lines policies.
- All underwriting aspects (processing of endorsements, capturing/quoting new business quotes, renewals).
- Assist clients with various queries; must have excellent communication skills.
- Credit Control.
- Liaising with Insurers.
- Answering incoming calls.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Full Short-Term Insurance FAIS Credits.
- RE 5 Qualification.
- Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Professional communication and etiquette.
- Excellent self-motivator and self-driven.
- Must be able to work without supervision.
- Fast Learner.
- Be able to be responsible for your department.
- At least 5 years Personal Lines underwriting experience
- Commercial lines experience would be advantageous.
- Must be able to travel to our offices in Centurion.
