**The opportunity**:
The role is responsible for overseeing energy projects within the Group Store Development portfolio. Stakeholder engagements will be an integral part of the role to build good relationships in the group and with contractors to ensure the installation of energy efficiency initiatives along with energy continuation in the TFG group. The role is also responsible to oversee the Capital and Operational projects and is a key contributor to the Group Sustainability Strategy.

***Responsibilities**:
Project Management
- Identify and compile a scope of works for a capital project approval.
- Conduct a project cost analysis for each project.
- Liaise with non-merchandise procurement to spec the technologies required to achieve energy efficiency according to the store specification.
- Cost saving is conducted through negotiations prior to the initiation of the project and during the project where possible.
- On approval initiate and project manage the project until completion.

Reporting
- Report to the group monthly with regards to the progress of the projects including the expenses.
- Facilitate and report on saving opportunities in the group with regards to the projects and the energy usage.
- Compile month end reports according to the business requirements per department and brand as needed.
- Report on the risks identified with regards to the projects.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the projects are implemented within the costs proposed and the timeframe agreed with the brands.
- Ensure finance is up to date on budget spend and metrics for the group
- Liaise with landlords and municipalities where necessary for permissions of installations during off peak periods in the retail environment.
- Ensure accounts are aware and able to deliver bills to reconcile energy data

Manage Systems
- Manage SAP system integrity and optimal usage where necessary_._
- Ensure the utility meters are connected, communicating and in working condition through the appointed company.
- Import data into internal systems if and when required
- Develop a dashboard for the group to track utilities on a monthly basis
- Through system improvement, improve the accuracy of the data to enable external verification

Objectives and Targets
- Form part of the reporting on Sustainable targets for water and energy reduction
- Track the savings of initiatives implemented into the group
- Meet the targets set by the board to report to stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Business Management or Project management degree
- Must have Business Analytics experience
