We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic **Social Media Specialist** to take ownership of our social media presence across all channels. This role is responsible for defining and executing the social media strategy, managing both organic and paid social media content, and creating engaging and exciting content that strengthens brand awareness and drives engagement.
Beyond content creation and execution, the Social Media Lead will play a key role in upskilling internal team members, empowering them to become content creators and social media advocates for RSAWEB.
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Social Media Strategy & Execution**:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored for each platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Oversee and execute the organic content plan, ensuring consistency in messaging, brand tone, and engagement across all channels.
Plan and manage **paid social media campaigns**, optimising performance for reach, engagement, and conversions.
**Manage and allocate the social media budget effectively**, ensuring optimal spend and ROI for paid campaigns.
Monitor and analyse social media performance, adjusting strategies to improve engagement, follower growth, and campaign effectiveness.
2. **Content Creation & Community Engagement**:
Create high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content, including graphics, videos, copy, and interactive posts.
Stay ahead of social media trends, experimenting with new content formats and emerging platforms.
Manage RSAWEB social media community, responding to comments, messages, and customer queries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
3. **Budget & Performance Management**:
Develop, manage, and track the **social media budget**, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across paid campaigns.
Work with the marketing team to align social media spending with broader marketing and business goals.
Analyse campaign data to assess ROI and optimise ad spend for maximum impact.
Prepare reports on **budget utilisation, ad performance, and key social media metrics**, providing strategic recommendations.
4. **Collaboration & Upskilling**:
Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure alignment between social media, digital campaigns, and overall brand messaging.
Identify and mentor employees across different departments to become content creators and brand advocates.
Host internal workshops and training sessions to enhance social media literacy.
5. **Performance & Reporting**:
Track and report on key social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimise content and strategy.
Use data-driven insights to refine content approaches, audience targeting, and campaign effectiveness.
