The **main purpose** of the Cash Converters **salesperson** role is to achieve retail sales targets by:

- understanding the needs of our customers by asking probing questions and listening carefully.
- offering solutions to our customer’s needs.
- negotiating with the customer and use your selling skills to up-sell and offer add on sales.
- testing pre-owned goods and ensure they are in working order before closing the sale.

**Specific responsibilities include**:

- To ensure that the retail floor and window displays are maintained in line with the company visual merchandising standards
- Collaborate with colleagues on the sales floor to achieve the common goals of **sales targets, merchandising and reducing stock age.**:

- Participate in walking the line daily to build relationships, keep the lines of communication between departments open and learn from one another’s experience
- Demonstrate products and explain how they match the customer’s needs and offer alternative products to ensure customer expectations are met
- Knowledge of new and existing products must be kept up to date to ensure that customers’ needs are met
