- At least ten years' consultation experience;-
- In-depth knowledge of a variety of techniques used in Statistics, as well as the underlying theory thereof;-
- The ability to consult across a wide variety of academic disciplines;-
- The ability to cooperate and communicate easily with postgraduate students/junior researchers, as well as senior researchers;-
- Sound knowledge of statistical software mainly used by researchers at Stellenbosch University, including SAS, Statistica, SPSS, R;-
- The ability to work independently.-
MSc in Statistiek;-
- Konsultasie-ervaring van minstens tien jaar;-
- Grondige kennis van 'n verskeidenheid tegnieke wat in Statistiek gebruik word, sowel as die onderliggende teorieë daaraan verbonde;-
- Die vermoë om oor 'n wye verskeidenheid akademiese dissiplines heen te konsulteer;-
- Die vermoë om maklik met nagraadse studente/junior navorsers en senior navorsers saam te werk en te kommunikeer;-
- Grondige kennis van statistiese sagteware wat algemeen deur navorsers by die Universiteit Stellenbosch gebruik word, insluitend SAS, Statistica, SPSS, R;-
- Die vermoë om onafhanklik te werk.Recommendation/Aanbeveling- Consultation and research experience in Biometry, time series analysis;- Knowledge of data science;- Experience in programming with Python;- Good programming ability;- Doctorate in Statistics.Konsultasie
